Sad to see the Post-Intelligencer go
As a journalism student, it is painful to see a newspaper go out of business. Recently, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer has gone entirely online. This is one step away from closing down.
I read about that! It definitely is sad to see another newspaper go completely online. It saddens me because I'm hoping to major in journalism one day and it worries me that I might not be able to find a job. I'm already letting go of majoring in graphic design because the field is rough too. :(
Karen is 37 years old — and still in community college! She's currently enrolled at Kapi'olani Community College on O'ahu, taking journalism, piano and musical theater classes. She lives in Kapahulu with her husband, Mike, and their "foster" dog Kai.
